Privacy Policy
Effective 13 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Hypad website and app (the “Interface”), operated by [Operator legal name], handles and why.
In short: there are no accounts, no tracking cookies and no ads. We count token page views anonymously, without storing your IP address. What you do on a blockchain is public by design. What you publish when you launch a token is public and permanent.
1. Public blockchain data
When you connect a wallet and transact, your wallet address and transactions are recorded on the BESC HyperChain blockchain, which anyone can read. Our indexer reads this public data (trades, holders, token launches, NFTs, referral codes) to show charts, holder lists, portfolios and leaderboards. This data is permanent: neither we nor anyone else can delete it from the blockchain.
2. What you submit
- Token details. When you launch a token, its name, ticker, description, links and image are uploaded to IPFS through our storage provider and referenced on-chain. They are public and cannot be deleted.
- Sponsored launches. If you use a gas-free launch, your wallet address and the signed launch request are sent to our server, which submits the transaction for you.
3. Technical information
- IP addresses. Our servers read your IP address in memory to limit abuse of image uploads, sponsored launches and view counts. We do not store it in a database.
- Token page views. When you view a token's page, we count one view per device per day. To tell devices apart without storing who you are, our server combines your IP address and browser type with the token and the date into a one-way keyed hash, and stores only that hash. It cannot be reversed, and it changes for every token and every day, so it cannot be used to follow you across pages or days. These hashes are deleted after a day; only each token's total is kept.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting providers keep standard request logs (such as IP address, time, page and browser type) for security and operations, under their own policies.
- Network requests. Your browser talks directly to BESC network nodes (RPC), our indexer and IPFS gateways to load data. Those services see your IP address and, for blockchain requests, the wallet address being looked up.
4. Stored on your device
The Interface uses your browser's local storage, not tracking cookies, to remember a referral code from a link you opened and your wallet connection preferences, and session storage to avoid counting the same token page view twice in one tab. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
5. Service providers
We rely on these providers, each of which handles data only as needed to provide its service:
- Vercel: hosts the website and its server functions;
- Render: runs the indexer;
- Supabase: database for the indexer's copy of public blockchain data and for page view counts;
- Pinata: stores token images and details on IPFS;
- Reown (WalletConnect): connects mobile and other wallets, if you use it;
- BESC network RPC nodes and IPFS gateways: serve blockchain data and token images;
- your wallet provider: governed by its own privacy policy.
6. How we use information
Only to run, secure and improve the Interface: showing tokens and activity, processing launches and sponsored transactions, and preventing abuse. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or build profiles about you. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request and our legitimate interest in keeping Hypad secure.
7. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers above, or when the law requires it (for example, a valid legal request), or to protect Hypad and its users from fraud or abuse.
8. Retention
Blockchain and IPFS data is permanent. Request logs are kept by our hosting providers for their standard periods. View-count hashes are deleted after a day. We do not otherwise keep personal information.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to how it is used. Contact us at [contact email]. We cannot change or delete data recorded on a blockchain or IPFS, because no one controls it.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, with safeguards as required by applicable law.
11. Children
Hypad is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly handle their information.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the current version. Questions or requests: [contact email].
